My name is Mikayla Salmon and I am an artist and creative designer from Maryland.

I owe my passion for art to my family who made sure I was exposed to the arts from a very young age. They have never doubted my passions, no matter how unconventional, and I can't thank them enough for their support. Without them, I wouldnt be an artist.

I grew up learning to draw from my sister, and acting in local theater. During my freshman year of highschool, I joined the stage crew for a production of "Almost Maine", and I never looked back. I didn't become serious about art until late highschool where I transitioned from a track for engineering, to rediscovering art and attending SCAD.
